Passover Seder Details

Dear Boomers,
 
Thank you for a short and sweet meeting and a special thanks to those who volunteered to plan our upcoming events.
 
Here is your Passover Seder Information:
 
FIRST ANNUAL PASSOVER SEDER
MONDAY, MARCH 29
6 PM
PARTY ROOM IN THE CLUBHOUSE
  • Seder will be Kosher style, however, Kosher meals may be special ordered as can some other dietary restrictions
  • One glass of wine or grape juice will be provided but feel free to bring wine or other drinks to your table
  • Coffee, ice tea or hot tea will be available
  • Seder will be catered by Meals of the Century----Richard Hardy
  • Haggadahs will be supplied but you are free to bring a Seder Plate for your table.  If you want or need a Kippah (Yamulka) you must bring your own.  Seder will be from 20 to 30 minutes in duration
  • Seder will be led by Alice Roth a member of the Baby Boomers
  • Meals will consist of Matzo for each table, Gefilte Fish on a bed of lettuce with tomato and red horseradish
  • Chopped liver will also be served on a bed of lettuce with onion
  • Matza Ball soup
  • Choice of one.....Roast Brisket of Beef, Broiled Samon with Dill Sauce or 1/2 of Roasted Chicken
  • Rosemary Garlic Potatoes and Carrot Tzimmis
  • Desert will be traditional macaroons and honey cakes
Total cost of the Seder is $21.00 a person for this sit-down dinner with waitress service.  Please feel free to invite family and guests but make arrangements for them to enter to Clubhouse.
 
Checks must be made out to Richard Hardy and mailed to Charlotte Hankin, 61 Somerset C, West Palm Beach, FL 33417, by March 10thTables can accommodate from 6 to 12.  Please be mindful that 12 is uncomfortable and you might want to consider 2 tables next to each other.   
 
You must enclose a note with your check with the following information:
  1. Name and telephone number of each guest
  2. Choice of Brisket, Salmon or Chicken next to the name of each guest
  3. The names of the Boomers and guests you wish at your table.  If you have no preference, the committee will seat you with other Boomers for a wonderful Seder.   If there is a problem, the commitee will contact you.
