Dear Boomers,

I hope this note finds everyone both healthy and happy. I have been missing and thinking about you all as I plan for our next season together. We have some wonderful activities planned for the coming season.

Currently in the planning stage are a Thanksgiving, Passover and Easter Dinner. So save the dates. Our first meeting will be 3 PM in the Meeting Room on the main floor of the Clubhouse on Wednesday, December 15th. All meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 3 PM. Of course, we will be asking our Boomers to volunteer to plan activities, so bring all your ideas to our 1st meeting.

Our Annual Picnic will be on Duck Island at 12:30 on Wednesday, January 5th. More information will be coming on all these activities.

First Annual Boomer Cruise (Open to all family and friends)---Norwegian Dawn from Miami--Feb 11, 2011, Nine nights to Samana, Dominican Republic, Tortola, Antigua, Barbados, St. Kitts and back to Miami. You can view the cruise at ncl.com This 9 night cruise will include the following:

Cruise, Bus from inside Century Village to the port of Miami and back, all gratuities except any personal items, all port charges, taxes and transfers, $75 shipboard credit per CABIN, standard insurance, and a Hot food cocktail party for our Boomer Group.

Our arrangements are being made by Lenny at Starlite Travel. You can reach him at 516-857-3297 or at Lenny848@yahoo.com to ask any questions or tell him about any specific needs such as private cabin, different accommodations, special diets, airfare needed etc. Lenny will take care of all your needs, just tell him you are traveling with the Boomers. Platinum insurance is available for $50 a person but you do have the standard insurance. Lenny will let you know what it includes.

An inside cabin is $820 per person double occupancy. An outside cabin is $1140 per person double occupancy. Remember this is a NINE night cruise and what it includes. I have already booked and given my deposit as I love this itinerary.

The deposit schedule is as follows:

$250 per person due by September 15, 2010. Next payment of $250 due by October 10th, 2010 and the remainder of the cost due by November 15, 2010. Your deposit is refundable until November 27th.
