Reminders:

Boomer Meeting, 4:15 PM, Wednesday, Feb 17 in the Clubhouse, Meeting Room C. 

Day trip to the Morikami Japanese Gardens scheduled for

Friday, February 19.

 

The cost for a senior or a member of our group would be $11.72 (Includes tax) which would be paid at the door upon entry. You do not have to sign up before, although that would be most helpful to us in case of any changes.

DIRECTIONS

Upon exiting from Century Village, turn RIGHT to the Turnpike heading south. Continue to Exit 81, Atlantic Avenue. Turn LEFT at West Atlantic, 806W, and RIGHT at Carter Rd/Jog Rd. RIGHT turn on Morikami Park Rd and continue to entrance. Maximum driving time should be 40 minutes. We suggest carpooling to increase socialization and save gas.

The Morikami needs to know the number of those attending, especially if people are staying on for lunch, so they can reserve an area for us. Please contact one of the coordinators listed below if you plan to join, and if you plan to stay on for lunch.

New and Exciting Event

 

Roger Dean Stadium, the METS VS. MARLINS,  Monday, March 8th.  This is for loge seating with seats that have backs. 

 

If you are interested, go to Temple Anshei Sholom (ASAP) in the Village (next to Hastings) during the hours of 8 - 11:30 am., give them a check made out to Anshei Sholom Men's Club for $36 a person. 

 

Brunch is included and will be served at the temple at 10:30 am that morning.  We will have to carpool or drive individually to the Stadium which is in Jupiter.  You do not have to let me know that you are going but I hope to see many of you there as I know there was interest in a Baseball game.

 

Hetty and Zach ask that anyone who has made a reservation for the Clewiston tour and lunch and cannot make it let them know immediately.  They have guaranteed an amount and will be responsible if you do not show.   Please contact them at zacharymdavies@yahoo.com with the subject line of Baby Boomers if you need to cancel or want any additional information.  They are now taking a Wait List.  So anyone, who was left out and still wants to attend should let them know.  Please refer to your previous emails for all information.
