Update

Hi everyone,

 

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year and that this year is filled with health and all good things.  Here is some information:

 

• If you still want to attend the Wildlife Sanctuary tour and/or dinner ( this Thursday, Jan 7 ), please contact Zach and Hetty at zacharymdavies@yahoo.com    This is the last call for the trip.  Make sure your subject line is titled Baby Boomers.
• Keep Wednesday, January 20th available for a 3 PM meeting in Clubhouse room B for a Boomer meeting to plan dates for more events.  Please bring your social calendars with you so we can plan accordingly.
• Monday, March 29th and Sunday, April 4, we will be celebrating Passover and Easter.  This will be discussed at the Jan 20th meeting and finalized at the Feb 17th meeting.  All are invited to both.
• Thursday, Feb 11 at 4:30, we will be having dinner at the Golden Corral on 441.  That information has already been sent.  You do not have to rsvp for that until after Feb 8th.  I am happy to report that I will be back on the 8th of Feb and look forward to seeing you all at this dinner. 
• Franne and Marlene have arranged for us to have the use of the Party Room in the Clubhouse on Thursday, Feb 4th at 4 PM for a pot luck dinner and games.  Entry will be a dish for 6 people and you will want to bring your games.  Please rsvp to coordinate your pot luck dish and your games with Franne or Marlene.  They prefer that you reach them by phone.  Franne 478-9526 or Marlene 684-3663.  Sounds great, so mark your calendars, call to rsvp and enjoy.

I am not enjoying the cold, snowy weather but am very much enjoying my grandchildren as we wait for our new baby coming this Thursday.  I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you all in February.
